Men’s POWER and SURF camp in Hiiumaa Dates: 15-16.06.2024 17-18.08.2024 RESERVE MAN, do you want to find your true power and unite with the forces of nature? The camp has been designed to help men discover the strength hidden within them and to balance their mind and body. Your part in this adventure is to take part in learning warrior power walking and breathing techniques offered by Tõnu Talimaa. Surf activities are led by Risto Kõrgemägi, who knows exactly how to make men’s eyes shine and raise adrenaline in the body.  In the evening, we will enjoy sauna pleasures together and the Hiiumaa health whisking ritual, which prepares us for an open discussion circle by the campfire with Tõnu and Risto. Sunday begins with the sound of the alarm clock and breakfast, followed by a workshop on mindful training and nutrition led by Erkki Murakas and a circuit workout on the coastal meadow. In the afternoon, we will once again take on paddle surfing and MEGA SUP and conclude the camp ceremoniously. Does this program feel like it is just for you? When registering for the camp, please choose accommodation for 1 night according to your preference.

  1.  Glamping tent, 2 places. The glamping tent is furnished with furniture and a heater, and includes a double bed with bed linen. NB! If you are coming with a friend, the second participant does not need to choose accommodation.
  2.  Surf bus, 2 places. The surf bus comfortably accommodates two participants for the night. The surf bus has a double bed with bed linen. NB! If you are coming with a friend, the second participant does not need to choose accommodation.
  3. Hammock tree tent, accommodates 2 participants. Please bring your own sleeping bag or blanket and pillow for the hammock tent. NB! If you come with a friend, the second participant does not need to choose accommodation.
  4. Safari tent. Accommodates up to 8 participants. The tent is furnished with air mattresses and bedding. NB! If you come with a friend, the second participant does not need to choose accommodation.
  5. In the big house (on a mattress on the second floor), single-person mattresses with bedding. NB! If you come with a friend, the second participant does not need to choose accommodation.
  6. Caravan spot. Participants have the option to park a motorhome in the coastal meadow.NB! If you come with a friend, the second participant does not need to choose accommodation.

Camp schedule and detailed description:

  • Power walking of strength and breathing techniques (3 hours)- This practice that I have offered to share comes from the shamanic tradition described by Carlos Castaneda. This practice, through which balance is created in the interaction of mind and perception, heals and strengthens the intensity of grounding, creates balance between the right and left sides of the body, quiets the internal dialogue, and trains the ability to concentrate. While doing the practice, we apply in combination the focusing of attention, creating conscious vision, conscious relaxation, and specific breathing. The three hours include a warm-up exercise session of about 20 minutes. Learning the elements of this walking technique piece by piece, then about an hour of shared practice as a chain of strength in the surrounding landscapes, and finally about an hour on breathing topics – breathing tools for quickly guiding mood, state of consciousness, and well-being. Wing surfing and paddleboarding training (2 + 1.5 hours)

Wingsurf training is primarily a further development of kitesurfing, windsurfing, and paddleboarding. Standing on the board, the surfer holds a wing in their hands, which the wind carries forward.  The training consists of theory and practical exercises on shore and in the water. Paddleboarding training is theoretical and practical paddleboarding instruction and a great opportunity to spend time actively at sea and get started with surfing. Paddleboarding, or in English stand up paddle surf ( SUP ), or in Hawaiian hoe he´e nalu, is a sport with Hawaiian roots that is rapidly developing worldwide. Paddleboarding originated from wave surfing, when surf instructors stood upright on the surfboard to get a better overview of their students. A sunset SUP tour is an enjoyable active activity at sea, where time stands still and the mind gets a fresh breath! When creating a meal plan, we talk about proper nutrition. If you want really fast results, then a meal plan is a necessary addition to the training plan.

Outdoor training is a great alternative to the gym, it has many positive qualities, and the possibilities in outdoor training are endless. It is also possible to participate in outdoor training with several people, making it all the more fun and affordable!
