Kite (Surf) Camp 2023

The kite camp is coming again. This year, the camp's motto is "back to the roots," and it has the symbolic name of "kite(forest)camp" which means that we will organize the camp as it was in the very beginning. We will move at a relaxed pace, simply enjoying the pleasure of being, surfing, and making the most of the summer!

We will gather at Ranna Surfiküla on the paradise island of Hiiumaa to spend the most enjoyable weekend of the summer together. We will set up the camp on Friday and aim to depart on Sunday.

The plan for the weekend is roughly as follows:

  • Chill, surf, and enjoy the laid-back island life.
  • Accommodation options at Ranna Surf Village include glamping tents, hammock tents, bringing your own caravan, camping in a tent, or elsewhere on Hiiumaa.
  • Games, competitions, and workshops.
  • The hungry surfers' stomachs at Ranna Surfiküla Surf Restaurant are filled with fresh fish and homemade food.
  • Kitesurf equipment demos and test various surfing equipment.
  • Sauna + hot tub right on the beach.
  • .... party, party!

On Saturday evening, one of the favorite Estonian artists will provide a musical experience, whose name will remain a secret until the camp. 

The participation fee for the camp is 45 EUR

Children under 12 age FREE

NB! The camp ticket includes the program.

NB! When registering for the camp, please choose accommodation for 2 nights:

  1.  Glamping tent, 2 places. If you come to the camp alone, the other participant does not have to stay separately. The surf bus has a double bed with bed linen. Glamping tents 4 pcs. NB! If you come to the camp alone, the other participant does not have to stay separately. The glamping tent is furnished with furniture, a fireplace and a double bed with bed linen.
  2.  Surf bus, 2 seats. The surf bus comfortably accommodates two participants for the night. NB! NB! If you come to the camp alone, the other participant does not have to stay separately. The surf bus has a double bed with bed linen. . The surf bus has a double bed with bed linen.
  3. Hammock tent  accommodates two participants. Participants have the opportunity to camp or park their motorhome with us. NB! If you come to the camp alone, the other participant does not have to spend the night separately. NB! Please bring your own sleeping bag or blanket and pillow to the hammock tent.
  4. place in the big tent NB! The price is for one participant. A place in a big tent. The tent can accommodate up to 7 participants. The tent is equipped with air mattresses. NB! Please bring your own sleeping bag or blanket and pillow to the hammock tent.
  5. In the main house (on the second floor on a mattress). NB! The price is for one participant.. NB! Please bring your own sleeping bag or blanket and pillow to the hammock tent.
  6. I come to the camp with my tent or motorhome. If you come to the camp alone, the other participant does not have to stay separately. The surf bus has a double bed with bed linen.   Guests have the opportunity to camp or park their motorhome with us. 
  7. Without overnight stay. Camp participants have the opportunity to spend the night elsewhere. 

Camp fee includesThe use of Ranna Surfiküla facilities (electricity, washing, toilets, sauna, etc.) is included. NB! Accommodation and catering are available for an additional fee (choose the option that suits you). On-site catering is provided according to the menu selection. Payment can be made on-site in cash or by card.

If suitable, we can meet you at Kärdla airport by car. The car ride from Kärdla airport to Ranna Surfikülla takes approximately 40 minutes.

NB! All camp activities take place according to weather conditions. Each day of the camp is a different surf activity. The camp agenda may change depending on the weather.
