Hiiumaa, one of Estonia’s most beautiful islands, awaits young people in 2026 at Ranna Surf Village, where an exciting and adventurous surf camp will take place. It is the perfect opportunity to discover the world of surfing, develop creativity, and spend an unforgettable time surrounded by nature!

The camp program includes:

• Surf training in five different surfing disciplines.

Camp schedule:
The camp’s daily schedule is planned so that each day includes diverse activities, while remaining flexible enough to accommodate weather conditions and the young person’s needs.

Monday:

• 09:30–09:45 Gathering in Tallinn, at the Laagri Maksimarket parking lot.
• 13:30 Arrival in Hiiumaa, lunch and settling in.
• 15:00–18:00 Surf activities, adventure games and workshops.
• 18:30–19:30 Dinner and free time.
• 19:30–21:00 Evening program (creative activities, games).
• 21:30–22:00 Free time and lights out.

Tuesday and Wednesday:

• Morning run, breakfast and start of the day.
• 10:00–13:00 Surf activities and workshops.
• 13:30–15:00 Lunch and free time.
• 15:00–18:00 Surf activities and team competitions.
• Evening program: sauna, surf films, campfire evening.

Thursday:

• Morning run, breakfast and final activities.
• 13:00 Departure from Hiiumaa.
• 17:00 Arrival in Tallinn, at the Laagri Maksimarket parking lot.

In the camp program:

No previous surfing experience or swimming ability is required. The only important thing is that the young person is not afraid of water. All activities take place in shallow water, and safety equipment is used (wetsuit and life jacket).

Marko has always been rather introverted and a bit cautious about new experiences. The camp fee includes:

• Transport Tallinn-Hiiumaa-Tallinn (according to the selected option).
• Accommodation either in a large glamping tent or in the house (on a mattress on the 2nd floor; you must bring your own sleeping bag – according to the selected option).
• Meals 3 times a day according to the program.
• Guidance from experienced coaches and ensuring children’s safety.
• Wetsuit, life jacket, and surfing equipment for all participants.
• Necessary equipment and guided activities for camp activities.

Camp organizer – Risto Kõrgemägi

Risto Kõrgemägi is an experienced surf instructor, father of two, sports educator, and former elite athlete whose passion for movement and nature has lasted his whole life. He has competed at a top level in both cross-country skiing and biathlon, and for the past 20+ years has dedicated himself to teaching surfing.

Risto is an international kitesurfing instructor (IKO), and under his guidance thousands of people have had their first surfing experiences. His teaching style combines professionalism, safety, and an inspiring approach, helping each participant overcome fears and find confidence in the water.

For him, surfing is not just a sport – it is a lifestyle that combines movement, freedom, and presence. Risto’s goal is to offer every participant an experience that not only teaches skills, but stays with them for a lifetime.
