The surf camp welcomed me like an old friend from the very first day, offering refreshment for the soul, mind, and body. The whole atmosphere and the people captivated me from the very first moment – summer bonfire evenings accompanied by guitar playing, the instructors’ relaxed and wholesome attitude, everything was exactly what I needed.
I had taken a 10-year break from surfing, but by the end of the camp I bought my own equipment, and that feeling of coming back is simply wonderful.

I went to surf camp with my two sons (7 and 9 years old). I had fun myself and the children enjoyed it 100%. The weather was beautiful, the camp location was great, and the organization was top-notch. What the children remembered most was speeding along behind the boat on a mega SUP, the SUP trip, and roasting marshmallows in the evening. A shared interest brought together fathers with a similar mindset, so the company was also a perfect fit. The surfer figurine we made together with the children at camp now has a place of honor in front of the garage at our summer house for everyone to see.

I got an especially positive boost from the surf and yoga camp! It was my first experience with both surfing and yoga, and the instructors Risto and Merlyn made everything especially enjoyable. The vibe of Surf Village is so special that you have to experience it yourself. If you want a break from everyday life and to take your mind elsewhere, then this is the best choice. At the end of Hiiumaa you can properly unwind. I definitely recommend going and trying it yourself.

If there truly is one place in Estonia that can be called the home of surfing, then it is Hiiumaa. More specifically, the Ranna surf village, a place where it is possible to take part in nearly every sport. What is more, there are trainings and camps for all ages, and by taking part you can learn every surfing discipline. In this surf village, you can enjoy your summer to the fullest; I have been doing so for the past 3 years, and those summers have been the most awesome.
